Hi scrappy friends... I have a mini album to share today that I created for My Little Shoebox

I used a Maya Road Album and painted the front and added some glitter and then added the flowers.

Heres a detailed shot.

the album itself is pretty simply and tells the story of how hard it is to get all five us us to stay still for a family shot.

Things have actually slowed down for me a little on the scrappy front so I'm hoping to get some more mixed media in to my daily life.

I have a couple of projects to share... When I saw the new Kaisercraft line I just HAD TO HAVE it!!!

And a mixed media canvas I did this is super cute 4x4 inches!!

I used crate paper neighbourhood on this wee little canvas!

Shoebox Hauntings

Hey wonderful friends and blog readers... I have some My Little Shoebox to share with you today! I was asked to work with Trick or Treat for December so no it's not Halloween yet! :)

I had alot of fun with this layout I kept to the purple tones of the paper and did quite a bit of distressing.

I added some ribbon roses into the layers to add some dimension!

Next up I'm sharing a layout with a picture that was taken this year... Yasmin was the only one who would pose for me... It was cold and she did wear a coat to trick or treat but was nice enough to me to let me get the camera out!

And some details.

Last up is a layout with lots of orange and black. from one line of paper seriously the possibilities are endless!

And I threw a whimsy in there for some extra variety!!

Tattered Goodness

Hello blog readers, I have my submission projects, that I did for the Tattered Angels Design team call, to share with you today.

First up I have a fairly simple layout I did I used some new colours of Glimmer Mist including afraid of the Dark which I LOVE!!

Next up I altered a photo box, which was just a $1 from Dollarama, I painted the wood with Glimmer Glan it looks so good painted onto wood.

I think itès atad messy for me but I do like it... its growing on me! :)

Lifting Tattered Angels

I am always so inspired by the Tattered Angels team and I still pinch myself occasionally when I remember I am among these amazing talented ladies!! I scraplifted this month for colour, technique and design.

Starting with Colour... I was super inspired by Jamie Dougherty's canvas here below.

And here is my take...

I decided to lift the canvas idea and the use of colours too which is a clam pack and includes Apricot Nectar Chalkboard, Bahama Blue Glimmer Mist, Golden Goddess Glam, Pewter Glaze.

I really love how the glimmer from the chalk gathered at the edges of the paste I used. YUM

Next I lifted this layout from JJ Sobey, I always love the way JJ incorporates so many techniques into her pages a very talented lady.

So I love the way she used the mask and modelling paste so I used this idea on another canvas :)

Making canvas's is fast becoming a new addiction!! Glimmer mists work so so well with altered art!!

The colours I used on this canvas are Monolith Chalk, Patina & Mallard Glimmer mist, Champagne Glimmer Glaze and Ocean Spray Glam.

Last up but never least! :) I scraplifted Anna Dąbrowska -Pękocka I love her unique style.

A teeny tiny bit different to Anna's design I don't have as many gorgeous treasures and she does but I did the best I could within my own style of embellishments!!

I just wanted to take a moment and address some of the comments we've received in regard to the boxes. The description of the sale, is literal.... "Wendy is cleaning house". This was truly a Warehouse/Garage Sale just as it is described. I want valued customers like yourself to be happy with the volume of product you receive in the box. The box contains lots of Vintage Tattered Angel Products, along with other manufacturers products collected from years gone by that we still felt had value to a consumer.

There is an image on our web site to show you an idea of what you would receive and also give you a general feel for what is included in your kit. Some of the products are not "New" packaged product, nor are we saying that they are.

As shown in the image on our website and compared to what you actually receive, these boxes have a amazing value. We included extra products that were not even listed in kit details just because we wanted to give you more bang for your buck. For example two Glimmer Screens are shown in the picture and we send 15+ screens in the largest kit giving it an extra added value of $30.00.

I have addressed the quality of packaging with my staff and have resolved any concerns about future shipments with possible damage to contents. We will certainly replace any item that was damaged, please just submit an image of damaged item so we can view damage and identify the product. We will try to replace with the same item but if its not in stock we will substitute with a similar item.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening where ever you may be reading from :)

I'm back today to share two more layouts I created for Tattered Angels using masks and screens

The first one here I layered up the screens one I used with gesso and the other I misted with. I actually really like the depth of the technique.

Next up I used a subtle masking technique where the mask is in the background and you layer the papers over the top... this is a technique I use alot but a favourite none the less.

November I created with the amazing My Little Shoebox Collection Audrey

I created two cards and a project!! love the way they turned out I`m dying to create a layout with this collection also!! So I will do that when I get a moment to spare :)

I really like the soft colours we received a cottage cutz die to use with our projects also.

So for the month of November we were asked to use out masks and screens!!! I pretty much ALWAYS use masks and screens when misting so not so much of a challenge for me!! So I wanted to think up of new ways to use my masks and screens, I dived into some magazines and I look at a french magazine called Histoires de Pages I say "look at" as I cannot read french however for inspiration this magazine pretty much knocks all the other scrappy magazines off the shelf!!

So Invild Bolme had a tutorial in there with layering a cut out mask over the misted mask and it really caught my eye!!

WOW Long time no post... don't worry if your the last blog reader I have left... I have lots to come over the next couple of days... Lots of My Little Shoebox, My Creative Scrapbook, Tattered Angels and a few just because layouts!

First up I have a layout titles Sweet Sisters I used the new October Afternoon Sidewalks line and it's one of my FAVS especially when using Whimsies the colours match perfectly

Tattered Angels Clam Packs

This month we each worked with a Clam Pack of our choice... I have admired the Prima Clam Pack for a while it have the perfect colour combination ( In my opinion!! ) There are 3 Glimmer Mist Colours, Patina, Cranberry Zing, Suede and a Top Coat Bronze

I used all of the clam pack on this layout, I tried out the new Pink Paislee Mistables too which I have to say are awesome!!! If you love misting and of course you do you need a good steady supply of these resist sheets!!

I also tried out the new canvas resists from Prima... I have to say I love these immensely, there is so much you can do with these products.

Next up I altered this adorable little drawer from Walnut Hollow, thier products react with the mists beautifully.

I again used all of the Clam pack colours on this little box, after I had put it all together I applied a generous top coat of Bronze it makes everything glimmer.

Next up I have a layout using all colours but the Cranberry Zing.

The Suede Glimmer Mist worked so nicely with these resist canvas pieces. I think Suede is my new favourite Brown!

Lastly I used Oil Slick Glimmer Glaze to make it look like an Ink Splot, I really like the way it turned out.

Hello Whimsy Fans today I have a couple of layouts to share featuring your favourite buttons & critters!!!

You're My Apple Pie

Tee hee I do come up with some strange titles sometimes!!!

I used this proud little Owl... well I say little but he's actually pretty big for a whimsy embellishment but he by far my favourite!!!

I used a Stone Textured button and Pear too on this layout keeping in with the fall theme.

Next up I have a layout titled To Infinity and Beyond!!! My kid is so into space and science that when I took him to the book store we went to the childrens section he couldnt find anything that he wanted... I found a couple of books that the girls wanted and I said he could come back and choose something else later on the way to the checkout we pass the Encyclopedia's and Science books he was so excited and he purchased a space atlas... Love my little Space Geek!! hey thats my next title!! lol

I used the woodgrain buttons on here they matched the papers so well.

And lastly I used the very awesome perfect for any space geek layout rocket ship and planet pins.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and I've inspired you to create something "whimsy"

A Perfect Combination

Prima & Tattered Angels that is, two of my most favourite manufacturers and this month get to work with both at the same time!!! So much gorgeousness!!!

For my first layout today it has alot more prima than Tattered Angels mists but I wanted to show off how well the Prima screens work with the mists, seriously made for each other the lines are very crisp. I used Cadillac Pink Glimmer Mist.

Next up I have another page to share, I used some blue's and green's on here.

I used Patina, Trunk Bay & Bahama Blue Glimmer Mists and Fuzzy Coconut Glimmer Glaze.

This title Love was just regular Canvas colour, but a nice spritz of Patina jazzed it up into a beautiful glimmery title ;)

The little green/blue flowers you see were yellow before but I didnt want two shades of yellow on my layout so they had a nice coating of Trunk Bay, I love the colour they turned out as!!

Last but not least

This Birdie is not feeling blue in his birdhouse!!! he embraces the blue. :)

The Prima canvas leave were sprayed with Bahama Blue Glimmer Mist, And the mistable white flowers (which are no longer plain LOL) were sprayed with Trunk Bay Glimmer Mist, for the Bird House I painted it white and then painted on Teal High Heel Glimmer Chalk on the roof. the sides I painted with Patina Glimmer Mist, last but not least I painted and sprayed in places with Bell Bottom Jeans (LOVE this new colour!!) Glimmer Mist.

Big Imagination

Good Morning scrappy peeps, I've pretty much scraped my whole weekend away!!! I love it when there is plenty of mojo going around. :) I will reveal what I have been working on in a week or so.

Today I have a layout to share for LCOM, I have one more layout to share this month with Bo Bunny Etcetera collection.

Have you ever layered your photos? I find it gives some added dimension if you layer pictures, I've seen some scrappers do pretty impressive things by layering photos, You could try layering a colour photo over a black and white photo for an awesome colour POP!

Happy Sunday everybody, I have a Harmonie layout to share today using the new La Banquise paper collection, which is totally gorgeous!!!

Harmonie also manufacturers the coolest laser cut wood and chipboard designs with this chipboard piece I painted it with an off-white acrylic.

Punky Sprout & My Little Shoebox....

This month the My little Shoebox team joined together with Punky Sprouts, so each of the team were given a mixed media album to work with!!! The album I recieved could not have been more perfect for the My Little Shoebox Destinations line!!!

The album came with Kraft roll up flowers which I thought looked perfect with ones My little shoebox have created for us in this fall release.

We travelled all the way from London, UK to British Columbia, Canada back in 2005 and it was a really big deal for us back then, we loved the country so much we ended up moving here a year later!!

I am a little bit of a journal phobe!! lol well it's just that I don't think much of my handwriting skills but I am getting there......

Three Generations of Silly!!! Yes I come from a long line of sillyness!! I created this layout for Lets Capture Our Memories "who by the way have a Marketing Design Call right NOW!!! check it out HERE!!" I used the Bo Bunny Et Cetera line and OMGOSH it;s gorgeous!!! totally in love with it, this would be amazing to used on altered art too, expect some canvases from me soon using this wonderful line.

My ``Baby`` started school today I was a little emotional, she was extremely excited until we reached the school yard and becuase there were so many mums and dad`s there she started to panic a little bless her.

Now I have all three in school........no more children on the horizon but I`m still young enough to change my mind! LOL

Hi scrappy friends! It's almost the long weekend!!! YAYY I worked a little overtime this week but it will be totally worth it when I can buy all the new CHA releases!!! tee hee.

I have a very long wish list unfortunately, why oh why do these companies have to continually put out AMAZING product? I don't know how they do it! My oldest and most favourite paper company is Basic Grey, did you see they recently had a Desgin Team call? I had to apply this is one I cannot pass up! I'm sure they had at least 500 applications and they are going to chose up to 20!! chances are slim to none but if you don't try .......you will never know right??!!

Here is one of the layouts I created for my submission, I used the Cappella line which I absolutely LOVE!

My post today finished off a month of Do you know your mistables on the Tattered Angels Blog, we wanted to showcase how well Tattered Angels mists and paints with other companies products. Prima, Pink Paislee & Walnut Hollow are known as Mistables partners. So today I'm showing how well the paints work with Tim Holtz, Ranger & Maya Road products.

My first layout is using some Maya Road Canvas Banners and Echo Park Victoria Gardens

I used Marigold, Cadillac Pink & Rum Punch Glimmer Mist & Wicked Glimmer Glaze.

Next up I altered a Maya Road Wrislet, I thought it would be fun to use some fall colours, as fall seems to be rapidly approaching!!

Isn't it cute!!! My Daughter loved it and pretty much stole it as it was still drying!! tee hee. I used Mel's Diner, Bahama Blue & Wheat Beer Glimmer Mists, these are not typical fall colours but together they look amazingly fall like!! dont you think?

Look at the glimmer on this little baby!!!

Last up I have a page using the Tim Holtz Distress Kraft Papers......After I had started spraying I was a little worried about the results for a minute as it seemed to soak right in but as it dried and I wiped over the resist, the colours came out beautifully and I cant even tell you how much this paper reflects the glimmer!! It's a shimmering miracle!

I used Bahama Blue, Sun Sisters Glimmer Mists, Hayride Glimmer Glam and Oil Slick Glimmer Glaze.

Oh and the Glimmer!!! one last photo for you to drool over!!

I so love the subtle watercolour tones....and I'm sure you all know by now that I am a purple fan. ;)

What is your must have buy when buying paper collections? Mine is most definately the matching chipboard!

Some fun title work, I wanted the letters to stand out and I dont trust my doodling very much so I mounted it onto white cardstock. I like it.....you may see this again :P

AND I purchased a new camera recently the Nikon D3100 I was going to get the D5100 but hubby said I could have another lens if I got the D3100 and it's the camera you upgrade over the years and all SLR owners know that it's all about the lenses!!!! SO.........
Will have to get this picture printed off very soon! :)

LCOM & Sassafras

Hi lovely scrappy peeps, Today I'm back with another installment of Sassafras Sunshine Broadcast :)

I really love the cut off strips from bottom of each sheet, an excellent way to use them up is to layer them...now if you want to add more dimension add some lace or some ribbon inbetween for a really cool effect.

We have tons upon tons of new stuff arriving in the store every day!!! Dont forget to check it out HERE!!

This is a company I have admired for years, there kits are always amazing....so I was super excited to have to opportunity to design for them with the main kit for August.

I really loved the mix of the three different collections and they go together really well.

I think this layout turned out to be my favourite, LOVE the banner

Oh maybe this one is my favourite........ I used up the scraps of green ribbon to make leaves. You dont need to add any of your own supplies to supplement these kits they have everything you need.

I don't have too much to write today......A HUGE box of My Little Shoebox came through the door yesterday so I MUST dive into it!!! It's AMAZING

This has got to be my most favourite Sassafras Lass collection to date the colours mix together so so well

Want to make you punched borders stand out more? All I did here was punched out my strip and layered it in top of black cardstock and just trimmed around the edges, gives a pretty cool look doesnt it!

Whimsy Goodness

Hi ladies......wow long tme no post!! today I'm showing some amazing whimsies off :)

First up I used this little green birdie who is just the most adorable thing I have ever seen!! He just works with the colours of the My Mind's Eye papers so nicely

Here's a closer look at him!

What I love about whimsy buttons the most are the details in them!!! This little star whimsy is teeny small, yet so perfect!!!

I can not add just one whimsy to a layout anymore.......I like to have them peeking out from everywhere to say "chirp" or "hi"

Here's my second layout for today using the new Sassafras Sunshine Broadcast.....it's really no surprise how well the colours of the Whimsies and Sassafras go together!!

Good News Bad News

It just all seems to roll together doesnt it, on the scrappy side of life things are very positive, most of you have probably seen I made the Whimsy Team!!! This was my third try!! :)

I am SO excited to spread my love of Whimsies over the next few months. Thanks to Steph for such an Awesome opportunity!!
Bad news is I was sent home last week from my job, technically laid off along with 7,809 temps from all over the country, I dont do very well with disputes and arguements and I should be back to work soon, it just sucks really bad in the meantime!!

And then good news again! I went to a LCOM crop at the weekend, seriously LCOM has the best crops!! got to see some of my most favourite scrappy pals and we had a riot! we also do. Thank girls you all really cheered me up. xx

I also managed to get a little scrapping done! Here are two layouts I did another will appear towards the end of the month.

I Love October Afternoons new 5&Dime the colours are fabulous!! I just love it all.

And one more I did the Crate Paper colour challenge no close ups on this one just yet I had almost no light left on sunday evening while I snapped a quick pic of it to send over my entry.

I had alot of fun scrapping my saturday away, and then on my way home I hit and killed a poor raccoon, one of those things where you just dont even have a second to think, I felt awful afterwards I still do now. Again Good times bad times they just seem to roll dont they! Maybe I should scrap that.........lol watch this space.

I used the City by the Bay collection as my main focus but used different papers from the Oasis and Farmers Market collections.

I really like how this layout turned out.........I was at a crop recently where some of the ladies were mounting elements onto black cardstock I was so wow'd by it I had to try it for myself!! Only now I dont think I can stop I love the POP.

GOOD MORNING!! Today I am very happy to be showing off some SCRUMPTIOUS Websters Pages for Lets Capture Our Memories for the month of June!! There are quite a few people intimidated by the loveliness of websters.....please fear not! if your afraid of detail cutting the backsides are just as good as the fronts.

Supplies Used : Websters Pages Country Estate Diecut, Country Estate Restful Retreat, Country Estate Sentimental Journey , Country Estate Images and Phrases, Country Estate Journaling Cards, Country Estate Fabric Tickets, American Crafts Thickers, Country Estate Princess Petals

I cut out the little house from the diecut piece and added it as a nice detailed piece. The journaling cards from websters are AMAZING!! You recieve 2 of each design and they are double sided, you also get 2 different sizes so you can really mix them up and add them in various spots on your layout. OR you could even make cards or a mini book with them!!

It's Tattered Angel Time!!!

Welcome ladies to today's blog post where Zoe jumps so far out of the box she has no idea where she landed!!! Although she is so thrilled with her project she doesn't care where she is, and is very excited to share with you today her very first JOURNAL!!!

OK so now I will stop referring to myself as a third person!! But I have to say I was a little worried about this month when we were asked to do journals, my blog is as close to a diary I have ever kept and I dont really include anything that personal other than my work!! So my journal is inspired by COLOUR & ART, I really hope you like it.

I also get to update my Designer logo today!! I am now a certified (no not the crazy type!!) Designer for Tattered Angels How cool :)

I used a different combination of colour on each page through my book, I thought it would be fun to see how colours compliment each other, so My front cover has Sun Sisters & Patina Glimmer Mist, Icicle, Waterfall, Purple Passion &Mellow Yellow Gimmer Glaze & Peach Belini Glimmer Glam

And finally Page 6 I used Bahama Blue and Silver Sugar Glimmer Mist with Emerald Cove Glimmer Glaze.

Omgosh I had so much fun incorporating all of these colours into one little book! I actually used the Frosty Memories album and just cut the snowflakes off, and it's a ridiculous $2.99 right now!! WOW

Using this months Wedding Pallette I created this wedding layout of my grandmother and my great grandfather, such a sweet picture which I treasure, I dont have many old photos of my family and the ones I do have are very special to me.

I actually didnt used ANY Glimmer mist on this layout it's all Glaze and Glam, the background is painted with Wicked Glimmer Glaze, and spotted with Pewter and Sugar Cane Glaze and all the chipboard and embellies are painted with Chandelier Glimmer Glam, it has so much sparkle and shine!!

Good morning!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather!!! it rained for 21 days here in Nova Scotia I thought I would never see the sun again, but right now as I am scheduling this post the sun has sone all day long with a wonderful 22 degrees celcius, more of this weather PLEASE

Lots of layers on this layout today, at the LCOM crop in Moncton I was inspired by all the ladies mounting thier "layers" with black cardstock, so I tried it and I love the look!!

Have you tried the new kaisercraft blooms yet?? ohhhh they are lovely, I really do enjoy grouping elements together as I did here with the kaiser blooms.

A Croppin' Good Time

Lets Capture Our Memories hosted a Crop this weekend in Moncton, I just managed to get there for the saturday, but I had SO much fun!! I was a little productive I shopped and laughed alot more than I scrapped but isnt that part of the fun!! It was awesome to see Kristine and Stephanie again, and finally got to meet Marielle who is one of the funniest people I have ever met. Good times :)

First up I created this BOY layout using the Crate paper Toy Box collection. I can get intimidated by the darker colours, but I like the end result.

Next up I have a layout I created for Kristines Challenge we were given a sketch and some 6x6 Lily Bee papers and the sticker sheet, I had so much fun with this sketch, and if you want a challenge........it's still going on go check out this post!!

Angelic - LCOM

Hey scrappy friends, today I would like to share Aprils third and final project for LCOM using the Gabrielle collection by Bo Bunny, I absolutely cannot believe it's almost MAY!!! YAYY

So I have been seeing lots of layouts with grids, tiles not exactly sure how you would describe it, I love this technique and it does take a little extra time to cut all your papers to the exact same measurements but the final results are always worth it.

Supplies used; Papers - Bo Bunny Collection Pack, Gabrielle Cameo, Gabrielle Fairest, Gabrielle Stripe, Gabrielle Unwritten, Gabrielle Cut Outs.
Embellishments - Gabrielle 12 x 12 Chipboard, Prima Dechire Collection - Ariel, Prima Sugar Blooms, Prima Fabric Leaves, Garbielle Letter Stickers, Pink Paislee Ribbon, Maya Road Vintage Black Pearl Trinket Pins

I mainly used papers from my scrap pile and cut rectangles, then I shadowed them with white bazzill there is about 1/4 inch difference in size, distressed all the edges and inked them with some wonderful Tim holtz ink, then set them in a random fashion to get my background, if you have a cutting mat with measurement lines on it these work wonders to help you line then up evenly.

After printing my photo I thought maybe I could have gone a little smaller so you would see more of the tiles behind the photo but I went ahead with it as this is probably one of most favourite pictures I have taken of Yasmin and she has grown so much since then so I kept the size.

Beautiful You (LCOM)

Good Morning!!! Woke up to a town covered in ice!!! UGH Well I guess I have power so thats a good thing ;) So here is my second layout using Bo Bunny Gabrielle For LCOM, I truly love this line, the colours blend together so nicely, anything you do with it would look elegant!!!

I love layers and it's super easy to create this look, the background has 1 12x12 piece 1 12x9 piece and 1 12x8 piece I layered them in complementary tones and then added the strips of punch paper after, if you dont use adhesive all the way to the edges of you paper it's easy to slide a punched strip with a little glue on it.

The Prima innoscence flowers are so pretty just as they are but if your working with a distressed look like Bo Bunny Gabrielle you can use a Distress Ink Applicator to add a little Distress ink, My favourite colour is Frayed Burlap.

Supplies used;

Papers - Bo Bunny Collection Pack, Gabrielle Cameo, Gabrielle Fairest, Gabrielle Stripe, Gabrielle Unwritten, Gabrielle Cut Outs.

Crate Paper LOVE!

I had so much fun over the weekend I recieved ALL four new collections from my FAV store LCOM and I played all weekend inbetween reading my new book which I finished by Sunday afternoon because it was so good!! City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare it's the fourth book in the series with a couple more to come in the next couple of years!! If only these authors could write a little faster she's left me hanging with this ending!! AARRRGGHHH

Anyhoo back to scrapbooking until the next book!! tee hee

First up is a layout of Aydin using the Toy Box collection, took me a while to scrap this photo hard to find playful boy papers sometimes, these just worked perfectly.

Me with my Optimistic Future, ha! No but really in all seriousness I come very far in the past two years and am actually starting to enjoy the challenges life throws at me and see myself emerge as a stronger person.

This layout using the Neighborhood collection, wow it's really difficult for me to spell neighbourhood without a U!! lol These pictures are from way back Yasmin is sitting in the Movenpick Hotel in Cairo picking flowers :)

Last one for today using Emma's Shoppe Yasmin in her first year of school she so loves to read!!! still has her head in a book now.

A nice simple layout to share today using Harmonies new collection Rococo. I love the colours in this collection they are so bright and cheery.

I am putting my new Crafters Workshop templates to good use :) I just used Tim Holtz distress inks to get the subtle stencilling look!!

LCOM - Our Beauty

Here is my first page for Lets Capture our Memories for April. I chose to work with Bo Bunny's Gabrielle line and I am so so happy I did, I LOVE it!!

I am loving the muted soft colours, they are just to die for, the peach, teal, browns and then when that wasnt exciting enough there is newsprint paper and butterflies too!!

Here are some close up shots of my layout, I used a cut out shape and layered it over the doily to add an interesting layer, I'm all about layers when I'm scrapping. I guess you could call me an Onion scrapper!! Lots of layers as long as I dont make you cry! lol

The chipboard butterflies are devine, I could have a gazillion of them and use them every day!! LOVE LOVE.

Congrats to all the other fabulous ladies who made the team with me!!! Espcially Kristine I have been scrappy friends with her for a few years now so this is super awesome!!

TA & Fabric!!!

So this month at Tattered Angels we were asked to use Fabric with our mists, glams, chalks and glazes!!! At first I was like Oh No!! and then when I actually started to work with the Fabrics I actually really enjoyed it!! Remember my earliar post about not being very Shabby Chic any more!!! well here is it Shabby overload! :)

So for my first layout I layered Tulle, Burlap, Unbleached cotton fabric with some more tulle and a Kaiser Craft Doily, I used the Basic Grey Curio Collection pack with a giant Prima flower which is generously spritzed with Glimmer mist, this layout has a ton of Glam, Chalk & Mists on it.

Next up same idea as the first one more layers of fabric, I used My Minds Eye Hattie Collection, The little green rose you see there, they are new this year from Prima I puchased mine at Lets Capture our Memories, they are totally awesome!!! larger than their other roses but they have either sprinkles on them or gold highlighted edges!!! so cool! I need a gazillion more. Glimmer Glaze works so nice on the frame fonts, the Mists on the Fabric are Patina and Walnut Gold. YUM

Last but not least!! Maybe my favourite out of the 3 actually I do not know I love them all!! So for my background I tore strips of frabic and weaved them to make my background which I sprayed with can you guess? Uh huh Patina!! has to be my all time favourite colour. The Burlap is again painted with Golden Godess Glimmer Glam this glam is perfect for earthy natural fibres, the large heart is an unbleached fabric which I sprayed with Polka Dot Pink Glimmer Chalk, last I to add some texture to the background I just flicked on some Paradie Pink & Waterfall Glimmer Glaze.

Good Morning Ladies, I have a layout today featuring Fable de la Fontaine, Did you know the bar code strips have thier own little pattern on the reverse side? I love using them to create fun edges like I did in this layout today.
I stamped on some extra clouds in the background, it's fairly simple layout for me but I didnt think it needed anything else.

OMGOSH is this not the most amazing zingy bright fun and fantastic collection EVER?? Pebbles has seriously been an awesome team to work with since I started with them in the fall of last year I think I will BEG them to keep me for the next ten years. SO SO awesome.
Anyhoo lets get back to the project at hand!!! lol

This layout is using the New collection Happy Go Lucky and am I ever lucky to have it to play with, it got lots of attention at CHA and I'm sure you can see why, it's scraps itself, and for anyone who has an adversion to purple then there is always the backside!! Echo Park Love

I'm totally in love with this new paper company thier designs are totally cutting edge and I for some reason or another HAVE TO HAVE every collection they release!!

I worked with For the Record on friday and here is the layout I did.

Four Generations!!

I actually have the next photo....unfortunately my great grandmother isnt in it but when Yasmin was a baby we did a four generation photo so I think I may scrap that with the same paper line... we will see.

Next up is a layout with the Be Mine collection!! took me a while to crack this baby open but LOVE the colours, the colours are definately bright enough not to do a valentine layout but I dont scrap me and hubs very often, he actually hates this picture it was just after his operation he was feeling weak. Gotta love him though. xx

Hello Scrappy friends I have a Pebbles project to show you today, isnt it funny how your ideas change over time I remember in the beginning of my scrappy journey I always tried to scrap Shabby Chic and I still do occasionally but I LOVE scrapping whimsical projects, recently it seems to be where I am more happy with my scrapping style, bright colours and whimsical designs make me a very happy scrappy lady.

With all this being said I have a very shabby layout coming up at the end of the month for one of my Tattered Angels Projects lol

{Harmonie} Adventures in the Corn

Oh my this is my first project using Fable de la Fontaine and oh my gosh!!! Totally in love, I have 1 boy and 2 girls, with my girls if I'm stuck I can just throw flowers onto my project and it will look ok but I find it much harder to scrap my son, super easy to get good pictures of him but scrapbooking boy pages has always been a problem of mine, well let me just say this paper collection scraps itself, it's whimsical but with enough masculinity to no be too cutesy.

For anyone who has boys you have to check out My little bit of whimsy, I really struggle finding the perfect embellishments for boy pages and Steph seriously makes the cutest little whimsy buttons and pins.

{Harmonie} Beautiful You

Hey It's the last day of February already I can hardly believe it, Spring is right around the corner I just know it, well certainly wishing for it we have had more snow than I have EVER seen before, but then I grew up in southern England doesnt snow much there.

I saw this idea in a Scrapbook Trends mag cant remember which one so I cant really credit the original designer!! but it wasnt all my idea!! Changed it up alot though :)

I used the Harmonie Rococo collection, this picture of Ceyda was taken in Fall before all this Snow found us!!!

The Little Mermaid

I seem to be using photos from a while back recently I think maybe because all I can see right now is snow and then more snow so having some fun colour to look at reminds me that the snow doesnt last 12 months of the year!!

Pebbles Scraplift

This week the Pebbles team are scraplifting each other!! While I dont like to scraplift, I was secretly excited too as I get a very good reason to scraplift one of my favourite scrappers LG, she created a tutorial and layout here!
So I used the New Arrival Girl Pebbles Collection, but kept the design pretty much the same, I love how she filled the scalloped holes with different papers, Genius idea.

Glimmer & Metal....

This months theme for Tattered Angels is Metal, I was a little overwhelmed by this one to be honest, but the more I played the more I liked the results, glaze by far has the best coverage on a metal base glimmer glam gives a super cool effect it doesnt cover 100% but after a couple of coats it gives a great mottled effect as you can see on my watering can.

I really love this watering can and is sitting proudly at the front of my altered projects shelf!!

Next up I created this layout with Glimmer Chalk and some Echo Park, Loving Echo Park each new release has me begging for more!!

I used glimmer glaze on the metal trinket key.

I made this sweet bracelet for Yasmin which she adores, she recieved a jewelry box for christmas and she loves filling it with treasures!!

I won the Whimsy contest with my layout below :) SUPER excited I was getting low on whimsies so happy I'll have some more to play with in a few days. WOOT.

I used Sassafras Mix & Mend, LOVE LOVE this collection this is the first time I have used it, I only purchased 1 of each sheet I think I need some more!!! Added a generous splash of Whimsy buttons too.
